Get fit at home:5 tips

Do you want to work on your condition and get fit, but would you rather not go to the gym? Then this shouldn't be a problem at all. You can also just get started at home and you will see just as much results here (if you do the work for it of course) as if you were going to the gym. But how do you approach this, which exercises do you do and how do you ensure that you stay motivated? With these tips you ensure that you can also get fit at home!

1. The right equipment
To start with, it is of course nice to have the right equipment at home. A running belt or an elliptical trainer can ensure that you remain in good shape and that you lose weight fairly quickly. You can also use this equipment to warm up your body before you get started with weights. There are different fitness equipment, and you just choose one that suits your wishes and needs.

2. Weights
If you are not a fan of equipment, you can always purchase a number of weights. Not only do these weights allow for more different exercises, they also ensure that you demand that little bit extra from your body. You can find the weights in the gym, online, or sometimes even at Aldi or Lidl.

3. Create a sports area
Free up a space in your house to exercise properly. Whether this is a corner in the bedroom, or a completely empty space. Make sure you have everything you need to hand in this place, and that there is a fitness mat ready on the floor. This way you can get started immediately, without first having to look for all the supplies.

4. Use apps
It is not always easy to find the right exercises. Fortunately, there are several handy apps that give you new exercises every day or every week. You just have to start the app and the exercises will be shown to you. Very handy!

5. Use what you have
There are guaranteed to be several things in your home that you can use. For example, the stairs are ideal for doing exercises, but room chairs or even shopping bags can also serve as temporary fitness attributes. Feel free to be a bit creative!
