Don't like going to the gym? It could be your personality

The effectiveness of one's exercise regimen may depend on their individual personality type, with more creative people better suited to outdoor activities. That's the key finding of new research. More than 800 people from different companies in different countries were surveyed for the study, which found that people with extroverted personality types preferred exercising in the gym more.

Employees with a preference for objective logic also adhered more to a detailed training plan than those who view feelings and values as more important. More creatively minded employees, especially those who enjoy working with new ideas, were much better suited to outdoor activities such as cycling and running compared to a structured gym regimen.
