Reduce hot flashes? You can do that with your breathing

A hot flash is anything but relaxed. Nevertheless, it is best to try not to get stressed, stress could be a trigger for your hot flashes.

According to an American "menopausal doctor" you can relieve your hot flashes, or even try to prevent them by doing these two breathing exercises.

1. Breathe regularly

Breathe slowly and regularly. Hold your tongue against your roof, with the tip of your tongue just behind your front teeth. Inhale for 4 seconds and exhale for 4 seconds. After the exhale, hold your breath for a moment before starting the next inhale.

2. Feel

Breathe as you always do, but focus extra on your breathing. What do you feel when you inhale? Feel how the air feels warmer as you exhale and pay attention to all the sensations you feel. It is a form of meditation. Ideally, you can do this anywhere, without anyone noticing.
