Researchers watched all episodes from the first 12 seasons of Grey's Anatomy (which is annoying) and then compared them with 4,800 real treatments

Maybe it doesn't surprise you, but Grey's Anatomy turns out not to be very realistic. For example, in Grey's Anatomy, 71 percent of patients are taken directly to the operating room. In real life, this is only 25 percent of the time. In the series, patients die three times as often, but the characters heal faster than people in real life.
