How do you get a weak bladder?

Almost every woman has experienced it at some point in her life:unwanted urine loss due to a weakened bladder. How come?

Unwanted urine loss occurs because your pelvic floor muscles have weakened. You can lose some urine while laughing, sneezing, coughing or exercising. Or maybe you're having trouble holding your pee. Annoying and you probably find it very embarrassing. A weak bladder can have various causes, such as heredity, overexertion or overweight. In addition, many women suffer from it after a pregnancy or when they enter the menopause. During menopause, the ovaries become smaller, causing the pelvic floor muscles to slacken and stretch. Your uterus will lie lower and put more pressure on your bladder and this can cause urine loss.
