People who read a lot live longer

People who read a lot live longer

A good reason to finally start reading that book this weekend that has been on your bedside table for weeks.

Bookworms
3,635 people over the age of 50 completed a questionnaire about their habits. They were then divided into three groups:people who read no books, people who read a maximum of 3.5 hours a week and people who read more than 3.5 hours a week.

Reading books is good for you
The more you read, the less likely you are to die within the next 12 years. In practice, this means that bookworms live on average two years longer than people who do not read. Looking for another reason to make time for reading? There it is.
