5 healthy habits that only take you a minute

1. Take off your shoes when you get home
In some cultures people always wear slippers indoors. This is less common in the Netherlands. From now on, kick off all your shoes at the front door. You prevent dirt from your shoes from ending up in the house and it helps you to put the working day behind you.

2. Brush your tongue
Brush your tongue after flossing and brushing your teeth. The back of the tongue is a breeding ground for bacteria. Even better:buy a tongue scraper.

3. Sneeze into your elbow
If you don't have a handkerchief to sneeze in, it's best to do so in your elbow or upper arm. This is the most hygienic.

4. Look away from your screen every now and then
Ideally, every 20 minutes you look at something other than your screen for 20 seconds. Preferably look at something a few meters away.

5. Drink more water
Do you find water too boring? Then add a few mint leaves, a few cucumber slices or some herbs.
