Washing your hands regularly is an effective way to prevent the spread of bacteria. But then you have to wash your hands well and that is not as easy as it seems.

The most effective way to wash your hands
A study studied hospital staff to determine the best way to wash your hands. Two techniques were compared:a three-step technique and a six-step technique. The technique, which consists of six steps, appears to be a lot more effective. Take a little more time the next time you wash your hands, because the method takes up to 25 percent more time.

How to wash your hands in 6 steps:

  1. Make a bowl of your hand and spray some soap in it. Then divide it between both hands.
