Maybe losing weight or living a healthier life was one of your New Year's resolutions. Did not work out? Give it a second chance this month.

In May, healthier living is easier than in other months. At least when we see Dr. Oz may believe. In his TV program he gave a number of reasons why we should start a healthy(er) lifestyle again this month.

1. It's easier

61 percent of women plan to start watching their weight in May, according to a study by Dr. oz. According to 57 percent, that would be easier with summer approaching.

2. You are less hungry

It doesn't work for everyone, but many people feel less hungry as temperatures rise. Fresh snacks such as fruit and cucumber also seem more attractive when the weather is nice, which makes healthy eating that little bit easier. Let the nice weather come.

3. 'More time' for exercise and sports

Now that the weather is light outside for a long time, the threshold for exercising outside is lower. Even if you exercise indoors:now that the light is longer, it seems easier to go out in the evening to exercise.
