This is how you train yourself to have less appetite for sweets

Less sugar
Studies were conducted among people who regularly drink two sweet drinks a day. Half of the group was instructed to reduce their sugar intake by 40 percent for three months. The other part of the group just continued to drink sweet drinks. In the meantime, the participants rated sweet foods a number of times, of which they had to rate how sweet they thought it tasted.

Of course you can already feel the outcome coming
Those who consumed less sugar for three months rated the same sweetness even sweeter after three months. So it seems that your body gets used to sugar. The more you eat of it, the more you need for the same effect. If you cut back on sugar, you will soon need less of it.

Worse news: after the study, the participants were given the same amount of sugar as before the study.
