BeBio:5 tips to keep your resistance up

Despite the fact that autumn is a beautiful season, we have to keep an eye on our resistance. Our resistance deteriorates quickly and this is often due to the fact that we do not dress warm enough yet. Below are a few more tips to get through the autumn in a whistling manner.

Tip 1:Keep yourself warm
According to traditional Chinese Medicine, your head and neck are very sensitive to wind and cold. The neck is the most vulnerable place, where wind and cold enter the body. So protect that trade, even if you only go outside for a while.

Tip 2:Go for extra vitamins that you often don't take in the summer
Especially in autumn and winter we need more vitamins and minerals. We do not always get this from the food we ingest and that is why we recommend supplementing it with vitamins. Important vitamins to maintain your resistance are vitamins C, D, zinc and a multivitamin.

Tip 3:Drink a lot
Because we have the heating back on in the house, you will sooner have to deal with a moisture shortage. Make sure your body is hydrated by drinking at least 2 liters a day. We are not talking about coffee here, but about water, herbal tea or warm water with ginger.

Tip 4:Air out your house even if it is colder
As temperatures drop, we tend to spend more time indoors. Homes, offices and schools are thus breeding grounds for germs. So air your house regularly and don't forget to wash your hands often to prevent those germs from encroaching on your physical household.

Tip 5:Go to bed early if you don't feel well Do you have a headache, are you tired or do you have a stuffy nose? Then give yourself that peace of mind right away and go to bed early or enjoy an evening on the couch with a cup of tea.
