4 reasons why you are tired

The days are getting longer, we have already had some warm spring days, but we are still tired. How is that possible?

Reason 1:The impact of daylight saving time
Your sleep and wake rhythm is influenced by daylight. It is now longer light in the evening and dark for longer in the morning than when it was still winter time. It's been a few weeks since the clock was turned back, but that can still affect your rhythm.

Reason 2:You suffer from hay fever
More and more flowers and trees are blooming. It looks very nice, but if you suffer from hay fever it is annoying at the same time. The symptoms of hay fever can disrupt your sleep. Do you not suffer from hay fever yourself, but your partner is sniffing and sneezing at night? That also affects your night's sleep.

Reason 3:Noise from outside
Around 5 a.m. the birds begin to chirp happily. Waking up wonderfully with those sounds from nature, but preferably not so early.

Reason 4:You have summer in your head
Longer light + nice weather =terraces. Is it starting to cool down? It doesn't matter, you can just continue to have a drink inside. The cosiness ensures that you are in bed later than planned and when you have drunk alcohol you sleep less deeply.
