Most people breathe three times too fast. Read how to bring your breathing back to the right speed.

Daily activity We take about 20,000 breaths every day. Babies naturally breathe calmly and deeply, at a later age we start to breathe faster and more shallow due to stress, about fifteen to twenty times a minute. That is certainly three times too fast.

Breathe through your nose Through deep, calm breathing, the body receives more oxygen and therefore more energy. Breathe through your nose, the air is purified there by millions of cilia.

Exercise
Lie on your back with a pillow under your knees and put your arms behind your head. This way you almost automatically breathe through your belly. Breathe in deeply through your nose, out through your mouth. After exhaling, try to hold your breath for a while.
