Pill without side effects

Pill without side effects

Yvette Zimmerman obtained her doctorate last week at the University of Utrecht, for which she did extensive research into the pill and side effects. The side effects of the pill mean that some women stop taking the contraceptive pill within six months.

Pill Problems
Mood swings and less sex drive are especially mentioned as reasons for stopping the pill. Health science pet Yvette attributes this mainly to the large decrease in the hormone testosterone. With each pill there is a reduction of about 60 to 80 percent.

Recognition
Until now there was no recognition that this change in women's hormone levels can cause problems. Yvette's research shows that when the testosterone level recovers, women report significantly fewer complaints.

More research
The pill hasn't really changed since its launch in the 1950s, while so much more is now known about the female body. The pill without side effects is a refinement of the current combination pill. A lot of research will have to be done before this pill is launched on the market. Money will be decisive for that.
