sleep well(er)

The evenings are getting shorter and going to bed early becomes more appealing. Make the most of your night's sleep with these five tips.

Time for a thorough cleaning
Your bed is a great place for bacteria, dust mites and dust. Time for a thorough cleaning:wash your duvet, air your mattress, vacuum everything.

Make sure you have a good temperature
Your bedroom should not be too hot. Therefore, open a window regularly and do not sleep with the heating on.

Check the humidity
If the humidity is too low, you will wake up faster with a dry throat and itchy nose. Check how the humidity is in your bedroom. To remedy a humidity that is too low, you can place a bowl of water above the heater or use an air humidifier.

Low light
Turn off the TV an hour before you go to sleep, put your phone away and dim the light. As a result, your body receives signals that it is time to sleep like this.

Ensure regularity
A regular sleep rhythm eventually makes it easier to fall asleep. A regular bedtime ritual can also help.
