Subconsciously we adapt our eating pattern to the person we eat with. Does your table companion eat a lot, we are inclined to do that ourselves. Eat them little, we also subconsciously suppress ourselves.

It will not surprise you that especially young women adapt their eating behavior to the eating partner. It doesn't matter what our own weight is or whether we are on the line. The social aspect of food weighs more heavily.

Awareness
With this knowledge it is easier to break your own eating patterns. Do you eat because you are hungry, or do you have another dessert because your girlfriend has one too?
