Urinary loss in young women

Urine leakage is a common problem, even among young women.

Research
Australian researchers from Monash University studied more than 1,000 women between the ages of 16 and 30. And what turned out? About one in eight women
was experiencing urinary leakage. Sex and stress were mentioned as possible causes. But why some young women do get it and others not, is unclear. According to the researchers, it is possible that sex changes the bacteria in the urinary tract. And a pregnancy is also possible cause urinary incontinence.

To the doctor
Do you suffer from urine loss? A visit to the doctor can be very helpful. He can inform you about incontinence and the complaints can often be treated well. For example, there are exercises to train the bladder and pelvic muscles, so that you can better hold your pee. There are also aids to collect urine and medicines that solve the problem. Maybe it will be easy to take that step now that you know you are certainly not the only one?
