Toothache:16 Proven Remedies.

1. Clove

The good old clove has been known to our ancestors for centuries to relieve dental pain.

It is a natural antiseptic and analgesic that deflates the gums and relieves sore teeth.

Put a clove on the painful part and crush it by closing the jaw so that it releases its calming substance.

- Bicarbonate: mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda in 250 ml of lukewarm water. Do the mouthwash at least 3 times a day. The baking soda eliminates the bacteria that cause pain and cleans the area.

3. Ice pack

Put ice cubes in a freezer bag that closes and wrap the bag with a cloth.

Then, place the bag against your cheek at the level of the painful tooth.

4. Garlic

Garlic relieves pain in general, especially dental pain.

It is composed of allicin which is released when pressed and which serves as a natural antibiotic.

Thus, the infection gradually subsides and the bacteria stop growing.

To do this, apply a crushed clove of garlic to the tooth that hurts, or rub the crushed garlic on the painful gum.

5. Ginger

Mix 2 teaspoons of ginger powder with 1 teaspoon of water to obtain a compact paste.

Then, with a cotton swab, take a little of the mixture and put it on the tooth that hurts you.

6. Tea tree essential oil

8. Green clay

Make a paste with 3 to 4 tablespoons of green clay in water.

9. Black tea

Soak a black tea bag in hot water and when it has cooled, place it on the painful area in the mouth.

10. Peppermint essential oil

Mix 2 drops of peppermint essential oil in your toothpaste.

12. Acupressure

This is another technique to calm the pain. Simply massage the tooth-related areas of the body with your thumb and index finger.

For example:the earlobe, the jaw or the soles of the feet.

Leave the liquid on the side where you have pain for a few seconds.

Spit it out and rinse your mouth several times with water.

15. Whisky

Soak a piece of cotton with whiskey and apply the cotton where it hurts.

Leave on for a few minutes to calm the pain.
