And you know what I thought to myself? It smells good, it's true... but it has so many health benefits! Do you know them?

1. Herbal tea

With 1/4 liter of boiling water and 1 tablespoon of lavender flowers, I get an herbal tea that I sweeten with honey. This is delicious. I drink up to 4 cups a day when I have a cold or the flu. It also fights against nervousness, stomach or intestinal ailments.

2. Maceration oil

With 3 handfuls of lavender flowers macerated in the sun in 1 liter of olive oil, I obtain a maceration oil that allows me to relieve my body aches, possible lumbago, back pain or even insect bites.

3. Maceration vinegar

In a bottle, I put lavender flowers halfway up, then I top it off with cider vinegar. I let macerate for a month in the sun. A glass of this vinegar in my bath helps me calm down and relax. And in addition the smell is very pleasant.

4. Floral water

I boil 1 liter of water with 3 handfuls of lavender flowers. I let it infuse, I filter. I add 5 drops of grapefruit seed extract for preservation. I keep this water for 1 month in my fridge without any problem. It serves me as a make-up remover lotion, tonic for tired skin, helps fragile and oily skin and fights acne.

5. The essential oil

I use lavender essential oil because it is sedative and antidepressant. It fights against headaches and also facilitates blood circulation. Finally, it is an excellent vermifuge and fight against parasites.

6. The cream

As a healing cream, lavender disinfects and heals wounds. It treats burns and insect bites.
