1. For normal hair

A raw egg is really best for your hair. Why?

Because the yolk, rich in fats and proteins, is naturally moisturizing, while the white, which contains enzymes from food bacteria, eliminates oil from the hair.

How to

a. For normal hair, use the whole egg. For oily hair, use egg whites only. To moisturize dry, brittle hair, use egg yolks only.

b. Next, fill in 1/2 cup whole egg, white or yolk depending on your hair type.

If you don't have enough egg to coat your scalp and hair, prepare more.

c. Apply to clean, damp hair.

d. Leave on for 20 min.

e. Rinse with cold water to prevent the egg from cooking.

f. Shampoo.

The whole egg and the yolks alone can be applied once a month and the whites alone every two weeks.

2. For dull hair

Styling products as well as air pollution can leave a film that dulls the shine of your hair.

But dairy products like sour cream and plain yogurt can help reverse this damage.

Lactic acid gently removes dirt while milk fat moisturizes.

How to

a. Take 1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt.

b. Massage into damp hair.

c. Let stand for 20 min.

d. Rinse once with lukewarm water.

e. Rinse a second time with cool water.

f. Shampoo as you normally would.

3. For itchy scalp

a. Mix 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of water.

b. Massage into damp scalp.

c. Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes on your head.

d. Rinse your hair.

e. Shampoo as normal.

The treatment can be applied every two weeks.

4. For damaged or tired hair

To add body to your hair, you can use an unlikely drink:beer!

This fermented drink contains plenty of yeast, which is very useful to restore energy and hold tired hair.

How to

a. Mix 1/2 cup of stale beer (pour the beer into a container and let sit for 2 hours to remove the gas) with sunflower oil and a raw egg.

b. Apply to clean, damp hair.

c. Leave to rest for 15 min.

d. Rinse with cold water.

Another solution is to add the stale beer to a spray bottle and spray some on dry hair.

When the liquid evaporates, the remaining protein residue (which comes from wheat, malt or hops) will strengthen the hair structure.

These treatments can be applied every two weeks.

5. For dry or sun-damaged hair

Whatever the type of dehydration, hard water, overexposure to the sun, hair straighteners, here is a natural product that will work miracles.

This product is honey. Why ? Because it is a natural moisturizer that attracts and keeps moisture in your hair.

How to

a. Massage the equivalent of 1/2 cup of honey into damp, clean hair.

b. Let stand for 20 min.

c. Rinse with lukewarm water.

d. You can also add 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil to aid in rinsing.

For severely sun-damaged hair, try mixing honey with 1-2 tablespoons of a protein-rich ingredient, such as avocado or egg yolk.

6. For oily hair

Used correctly, semolina (or cornstarch), is an inexpensive and effective remedy for treating oily hair.

How to

a. Pour 1 tablespoon of cornmeal or cornstarch into an empty salt or pepper bottle.

c. After 10 min, use a hairbrush to brush and remove everything.

d. Rinse with water.

You can accentuate the moisturizing action of this remedy by combining mashed avocado with 1 to 2 tablespoons of sour cream, or egg yolks or even mayonnaise.

This treatment can be applied every two weeks.

8. For dandruff-prone hair

Nothing works better than baking soda to get rid of dandruff.

Why ? Because the bicarbonate is in fact responsible for treating all that is acidic.

How to

a. Mix 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda with small amounts of water until a thick paste forms.

b. Massage into damp hair.

c. Let stand for 15 min.

d. Rinse with water.

f. Shampoo as usual.
