7 Reasons Why You Should Have Eggs for Breakfast.

Did you know that eating eggs for breakfast is good for your health ?

For example, you can improve your memory, protect your eyesight and even lose weight.

But these are not the only benefits!

Discover 7 good reasons to eat eggs for breakfast:

7 Reasons Why You Should Have Eggs for Breakfast.

1. Eggs are much more nutritious than cereal or toast

The egg is a reservoir of protein and fat. Result:you are full of energy and you feel full. It saves you from succumbing to the temptation to snack before the lunch break (do you recognize yourself?).

2. Eating eggs helps to lose weight

Since you are more satisfied with eggs, you snack less between meals. A study conducted on the subject indicates that people who eat eggs for breakfast are more likely to lose weight than those who eat toast. It is therefore a good reflex to adopt if you want to lose weight.

3. Eggs are an excellent source of protein

Did you know that eggs contain all the amino acids essential for the growth and maintenance of the human body? A whole egg (i.e. the yolk AND the white) is one of the most complete sources of protein available.

4. Eggs are relatively affordable

If you compare them to other protein-rich foods, like meat, eggs are much cheaper. Even choosing free-range organic eggs.

5. Eggs do not raise your cholesterol levels

Everyone knows that eggs contain cholesterol. But be aware that there is a distinction between “good cholesterol” and “bad cholesterol”. However, several scientific studies show that eggs only slightly increase “bad” cholesterol.

Yep, that surprised me too. I thought you shouldn't eat eggs when you had cholesterol. But it is a received idea that is FALSE.

Morality, eating eggs does not increase your risk of cardiovascular disease!

6. Eggs play an important role in brain development and function

Egg yolk is the richest food in choline.

Choline is an essential nutrient for brain function and development. Studies indicate that it maintains memory and makes you more alert.

7. Eggs are good for eyesight

Eggs contain luetin and zeaxanthin. These two antioxidants protect the eyes against ultraviolet rays. In addition, they help reduce the risk of cataracts as you age.

No time to cook eggs in the morning? Here's how

Here are 3 tips for preparing eggs in less than 5 minutes:

1. Prepare hard-boiled eggs in advance

On weekends, take advantage of down time to cook a dozen hard-boiled eggs at the same time. You can use an egg cooker to simplify cooking. Put them in the fridge and you just have to serve yourself in the morning. And if you don't have time, you can even take it with you easily.

2. The egg cooks in the microwave in 60 sec

Break an egg into a ramekin and cook it in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir, season and breakfast is ready!

3. The fried egg

Personally, this is my favorite way to prepare eggs. And so easy, too!

Heat your skillet over high heat for about 1 minute. Then, add a little oil, and break your egg into the pan (without breaking the yolk). Cook for 2 minutes until the white has firmed up.

Finally, use a spatula and serve on a plate. It's even better with ground pepper :-)

And if you've dropped a piece of shell in the pan, use this trick to easily remove it.
