Permanent Hair Removal:Profitable or Not?

Permanent Hair Removal:Profitable or Not?

Hair removal affects almost all women, but also some men.

The choice of hair removal often depends on comfort, but also certainly on the technique used and its cost.

What about permanent hair removal?

Let's see its pros and cons.

Permanent Hair Removal:Profitable or Not?

Permanent hair removal, women dream of it, because having to go through this exercise frequently can be annoying and quickly boring. Some men, who have an excessive hair problem, also think about it... But is it really a good idea ?

What is permanent hair removal?

If it is very popular these days, it is because it regulates in a finally radical way hair removal problems. Several techniques and institutes have developed on this theme.

Indeed, many women no longer wish to have their hair pulled out by wax or an epilator. It is therefore a market that has the wind in its sails for a good ten years.

It involves, in several sessions, sometimes spread over an entire year, to eliminateall the hairs one or more areas of the body. Three techniques stand out:laser, light and electric hair removal. In all three cases it is a question of capturing the hairs thanks to their pigment which will capture the light, and of destroying them.

Advantages of permanent hair removal

- All parts of the body can be treated. The most suitable technique will be chosen by the patient and the practitioner. It is necessary to go through a consultation , to see if the skin and the hair will be receptive and if there are no contraindications.

- All operations are carried out by dermatologists (in clinics or surgeries) or highly qualified personnel (in specialized institutes).

Disadvantages of permanent hair removal

To no longer have any hair on the skin, to be rid of this perpetual chore, to no longer have to think about it... Of course, it's something you can dream of. The problem is that it's not possible in some cases :

- skin that is too matte (the light does not capture the hair)

- a little too light (same problem)

- overly sensitive or problem skin

- the length of the treatment (up to a whole year) because the sessions are spaced out

- a very high cost

The price of permanent hair removal

The price, therefore, let's talk about it:I have listed some of them for you, and I advise you to consult the comprehension-choisir.com site, which is very complete on the subject...

- Face:count between €450 and €1,000 depending on the method chosen

- Armpits:€600 to €1,000

- Swimsuit:€450 to €1,300

- Legs:€1,200 to €2,000

My conclusion on permanent hair removal

Quite honestly, if I had the money to do it, I would think about it very seriously. That being said, I calculated that for what I needed (e.g. armpits + legs + arms + bikini), I would save at least €3,000 .

The treatment is definitive, but long. I can't see myself waiting a year without going to the sun. In comparison, my epilator must have cost me the sum of 50 € about. Admittedly, once a week for the legs is painful, but... so it pays off.

The techniques are proven and practiced by doctors. So if it tempts you despite the price, I advise you to consult the right specialists .
