When should you drink this anti-bloating remedy?

How To Use Baking Soda For Bloating.

The important thing is to take this remedy at the right time.

It's a matter of timing.

- If you take bicarbonate water during digestion , it reduces the secretion of gastric juices thus reducing acidity in the stomach. But, on the other hand, it can make you want to burp...which can be annoying. If this is your case, add a few drops of lemon to your home remedy.

- If you take it after digestion , this remedy dissolves the mucus and deflates the stomach. But, it is more quickly absorbed into the blood. And it is not recommended for people on a salt-free diet.

Why does it work?

Bicarbonate is a salty product, called alkaline.

It neutralizes the acidity in the stomach responsible for bloating.

It reduces the "bloated belly" effect when eating certain foods.

Use baking soda which is thinner and dissolves faster.

And against flatulence?

When we are bloated, we often tend to have some unpleasant flatulence to evacuate this air.

Well, there is good news.

Which one?

Quite simply that this remedy is also effective against flatulence .

Precautions to take

Bicarbonate should be taken occasionally.

Why ? Because it aggravates high blood pressure because of the salinity of the product.

It is therefore not recommended for those who pay attention to their daily salt intake.

Why am I bloated?

Bloating can have several causes:

- Eating too quickly. This is one of the most common reasons. The faster you eat (or drink), the more air you swallow and the more your stomach swells.

- Drink soft drinks.

- Chewing gum.

- Being under too much stress

- Eat certain foods that ferment in the belly.

- Make meals that are too big or too greasy

- Take antibiotic treatments that can cause your stomach to swell.

- Drink through a straw.
