I don't know about you, but I hate waxing.. .

It's unpleasant, it pulls and the hair grows back too quickly, whatever you do.

And when I go to the beautician, it's the same thing... except that on top of that it cost me 20 €!

Luckily, my Moroccan best friend told me about her method for making super effective oriental wax yourself.

All you need is to mix sugar, honey and white vinegar to make homemade wax . Watch:

What you need

- 220 g of sugar

- 1 tablespoon of honey

- 1/2 glass of white vinegar

- glass container

- talc

- wooden spatula

How to

1. Put all the ingredients in the glass container.

2. Mix well with a spoon.

3. Put everything in the microwave for 2 minutes.

4. When the mixture has a thick consistency, it's ready.

5. Now let it cool down a bit.

6. First sprinkle talc on the parts to be waxed.

7. Apply the wax to the skin with a wooden spatula.

8. Let it harden a little on the skin.

9. Pull against the direction of hair growth.

You can use it on all areas of the body:legs, armpits, bikini area, eyebrows...

This method is quite painless and does not dry out the skin.

The wax can be kept for several months in the fridge in its glass jar. Just pop it back in the microwave when you need it.

Why does it work?

The melted sugar and honey form an elastic and sticky paste that helps trap the hairs.

This makes it much easier to remove all the hairs at once.

White vinegar is a disinfectant and painkiller to avoid the tingling effect after removing the wax.
