1. Chocolate scrub recipe

What better than a scrub to remove dead cells?

In winter, my skin suffers the affronts of the cold. So I'm always careful to anticipate possible irreparable problems.

I exfoliate once or twice a week.

Of course, I can buy a ready-made chocolate-based scrub.

But not to do it myself? It's cheaper and I know what's in it.

Here's how I do it:

1. Make a bain-marie with a few squares of chocolate and 3 tablespoons of jojoba oil.

2. Whisk until you get a smooth paste.

3. Add a tablespoon of shea butter.

4. Mix well.

5. Remove the pan from the heat.

6. Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (if you don't have any, white sugar, salt or ground almonds can act as an exfoliator).

7. Mix again.

8. Leave to cool.

9. Keep refrigerated for a maximum of 8 days.

Result

And there you have it, you have made a natural chocolate body scrub :-)

With this quantity I do once my whole body (as a scrub in the shower) or twice the face (I massage, I rinse).

2. The chocolate mask recipe

I discovered that in addition to being an excellent scrub, chocolate can also be an excellent moisturizer and a great anti-wrinkle. It hydrates and reduces wrinkles.

And it's much more economical than overpriced jars of anti-wrinkle cream! Here is my tip:

1. Melt 8 squares of 80% cocoa dark chocolate in a bain-marie.

2. Remove from heat.

3. Mix well to obtain a smooth paste.

4. Add a tablespoon of sweet almond oil or olive oil.

5. Leave to cool.

6. When lukewarm, apply with a brush to the face.

7. Rinse off with lukewarm water after 8-10 min.

Result

There you go, you have prepared your natural chocolate anti-wrinkle mask :-)

Want a little extra tip? A second rinse with cold water for clear and firm skin!

If I have any left, I also keep it for 8 days in the fridge.

I have impeccable skin, the treatments are pleasant and smell very good, unlike some other products.

These scrubs and masks are as effective as those performed by beauticians.

And these homemade treatments have the advantage of being able to be prepared and used outside of beauty salons.
