4. Boil 100ml of water.

5. Off the heat, infuse the herbs.

6. Leave the mixture to cool in the open air.

7. Once cold, pour the infusion through the coffee filter into the jam jar.

8. Transfer it using the funnel into a pretty glass bottle.

Result

There you go, your tonic to treat your acne-prone skin is already ready :-)

It's easy to do, quick and effective. And at least you know what's inside! No toxic chemicals, only plants!

Note: You can keep your strained tonic in the jam jar. But a nice glass bottle is more convenient to use.

For example, you can an old small bottle of balsamic vinegar previously cleaned, dried and stripped of its label.

This herbal tonic can be kept for a maximum of 3 days. It is therefore not necessary to make large quantities.

How to use your lotion

After each cleansing (with soap or make-up remover), it is advisable to purify your skin with the tonic.

This action aims to eliminate all soap residue, tighten pores and refresh the skin.

To do this, pass a cotton ball generously soaked in lotion very gently.

Do it gently so as not to attack the epidermis, all over the face and neck.

Be careful to avoid the eye area!

Finally, remember to moisturize your skin well.

Otherwise it will produce sebum to restore its protective film and therefore grease.

Unfortunately oily skin is the most prone to blackheads and pimples.

It is for this reason that they must be pampered.

I used this astringent toner myself during that terrible period of puberty.

It is not expensive and it is ecological.

It combines the action of three aromatic plants for a visible result in less than a week.

Your skin will be healthier and softened. Blemishes and blackheads will gradually disappear thanks to its astringent and antiseptic effect.

Why does it work?

Parsley has astringent, decongestant, healing and lightening properties, ideal for damaged skin.

Thyme is an antiseptic and tightens pores, perfect to prevent the appearance of blackheads.

Lemon Balm is healing and soothing. It is very suitable for normal to oily skin and soothes any irritations.

Bonus tip

You don't have lemon balm? You can replace it with oregano (1 pinch), known to be a good antiseptic and an effective softener.

Additional advice

To have healthy skin, you can opt for the formula soap + tonic + cream. It turns out to be the most effective in preventing the appearance of blackheads and pimples.

For daily use, Aleppo soap is recommended to gently cleanse your skin.

But for an exfoliating action, I definitely recommend this anti-acne exfoliating recipe, once or twice a week.
